Lausanne, Switzerland, September 30, 2011 – EMEX, the worldwide EHSQ and Sustainability software group has announced that it has signed an agreement with Harsco, one of the world’s most respected and admired industrial services and engineered products companies, to implement its Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability solutions across the group’s global sites.

Key Facts/ Highlights

Supporting Quotes

Bryan West added that the EMEX platform was selected following a comprehensive review of available software options.  The decision, in part, was driven by a desire to future-proof the organisation’s EHSQ and Sustainability endeavours; “Everyone talks about configurability but it became increasingly clear to us that some vendors have a very lose definition of what that means.  With the EMEX platform we know it means that we can extend our data capture and analysis routines far beyond the framework that’s currently been captured as a requirement.  It gives us a tremendous comfort that the solution we’ve acquired today can grow with us, can support our expanding requirements without demanding a dramatic rethink of the business case.”

Richard Wall, CEO, EMEX: “More and more, customers are using our platform in ways they’ve not previously imagined, ways that weren’t a part of their original specification.  We’re really excited about the freedom our entirely unique approach to configurability and module flexibility gives them.  It’s a refreshing change from the way solutions have typically been packaged in this industry.”
